Crystal-Infused Art: What It Is & How It Uplifts You and Your Space
What It Is
When I tell people I create crystal-infused art, they often want to know what that really means — the process, how it works, and why I use crystals in my creations. So I thought I’d write this blog post to give you a deeper understanding.
The overall style of art I create is abstract and abstract figurative, and my process is extremely intuitive. I follow what I feel, allowing the energy to guide each brushstroke, color, and layer.
I use crystals that come in powder form, fine grains (like sand), or sometimes a coarser consistency depending on the texture I want to create. i uuse crystals such as rose quartz, amethyst, clear quartz, and more depending on the intention behind each piece.
The Process
Even the process of choosing crystals is intuitive. I select whichever crystals I feel guided to infuse into that specific piece.
I begin by adding the crystals during the early stages — usually as I’m prepping the canvas with gesso. This helps the crystals bind to the surface as it dries, creating beautiful depth, texture, and energetic layers before I even begin painting.
From there, the entire creation becomes a blend of intention, energy, color, movement, and crystal vibration.
How It Can Uplift Your Energy & Your Space
When I create, I set clear intentions and pour positive, healing energy into every piece. It feels similar to adding energy work or Reiki into the artwork — a gentle, supportive vibration that stays with the piece long after it’s finished.
While I’m painting, I often slip into a meditative state. Time moves differently. What feels like minutes can turn into hours. That energy — grounded, peaceful, connected — becomes part of the creation itself.
